I'm not who I was, nor who I will be.
I am who I am, right now.
Flawed. Imperfect. Learning. Growing.
- I refuse to live my life in fear.
- I am authentic to myself, unapologetically. I won’t dilute myself for anyone.
- If somebody won't accept me for who I am, it's all about them, not me.
- I say what I believe, and I do what I say.
- I will not settle for less than I deserve.
- I won't be a spectator of my life. Time is short.
- Confidence is a choice.
- I focus on what I can change, not what I can’t.
- I don't own events, or their reasons, but I own how I react to them. The reasons will follow.
- I am inclusive, kind and caring.
- My needs, thoughts and feelings are valid, as are those of other people, even where they differ. I avoid making projections or assuming otherwise.
- I respect others’ boundaries, and also my own.
- Listening, not judging or telling, is the foundation of healing.
- Bodily autonomy is not negotiable.
- Overthinking is destructive. Don’t.
- Life is a journey of continuous learning and growth.
- I forgive myself for my mistakes, but own them and learn from them.
- I learn from the past, plan for the future, but live in the present.
